Led brake light wing for concours November 17, 2019 Reviewer: Maurice O' Neill from Teaneck, NJ United States   The unit is nice and I'm happy with it. A vast improvement of the original rear light. On fitting it was not as easy as the video, but still not complicated, a well-trained monkey with small hands could have achieved success. The webpage literature says no wire cutting required, however, this is not correct. One wire must be cut and connected properly as there is a diode in the circuit. Lastly, the wires from the wing are not in a harness. I accept this is to allow flexibility at installation, but there should be a waterproof plug securing the wires coming out of the wing.  It seems a likely candite for corrosion down the road. V2 Light bar November 2, 2019 Reviewer: Floyd Lee from York, PA United States   Gotta say, I am impressed and delighted. This had to be the easiest install ever. The hardest part was wrestling with the darn wires as my year (2017) has the wires tucked into a big rubber sleeve tucked into the left rear corner. Was all was dug out, it was a snap and exactly as described. I did however not cut the blue brake wire and just tapped into it so as not to have the modulation. My preferred method but I like the light bar better that way. Kudos AST for a stand out product and making it very easy for us. Totally recommend to any with a Concours 14. Also on a side note, communication with Mr. Ryan was quick and personal. That to me is as important as the product. Thanks!!! Was this review helpful to you?

I love this technology September 19, 2019 Reviewer: M. Doehrman   I love this technology.  It is REALLY bright and gets the attention of the people not paying attention.  I just finished installing a replacement light on my Concours 14, the old one was failing (probably due to poor installation by the previous owner).  The new one installed perfectly, with great instructions.  I really like the strobe feature for the brake lights in version two and the fact that I didn't have to splice a bunch of wires. I deducted one star due to the lack of shrink wrap on the exposed wires.  A little of that would help hide the installation of the light.  It would also provide some protection for the wiring. I would also like to see the insertion point for the wiring (into the light bar) be sealed to the elements, it doesn't appear to be that way right now.  The odds of water getting in there are slim, but we all know a guy named Murphy.  All it would take is a little silicone sealant to close the port off, maybe I will take care of it myself. I would buy and install this product again, providing I get more life out of the new one.  I will update this review if the product does not live up to expectations. Was this review helpful to you?

Ryan's products are all of the highest standard, quality, are all extremely reliable, unique and they all look great. Most importantly though, on each purchase, Ryan was prompt, courteous, professional, forthcoming and was more concerned about MY needs rather than simply making a sale. Any time a purchase is made over the internet, the consumer is always at risk. However, when the consumer does not reside in the U.S., the risk is exponential. Over the years, Ryan has proven to me that as an individual / business entrepreneur, he is credible, reliable and accountable. Is he perfect? No, but then no one is. LED Brake, Blinkers, & Running Lights July 18, 2016 Reviewer: John Armstrong from Ottawa, ON Canada   AST was responsive to my questions by email and phone. Jill shipped the part the day I placed my order and I was able to track the part from Florida to Ottawa. (received the package in 6 days) Installed the the light bar in about an hour or so, as the installation was very easy with the wiring harness complete with factory connectors. Very pleased with the overall look and operation of the LED light bar. It looks like a Kawasaki factory option, and I've had a lot of complements from other riders wishing there was a kit for their bikes. Over all a very positive purchase. LED Brake/Blinkers/Running Lights "Version 2" January 10, 2015 Reviewer: HM from California, United States.   The first 8 inches or so of the wires coming out of the light really need some shrink wrap or something on them to clean up the installation look.  Also my 2014 model had different stuff under the seat than was shown in the video.  Removal of a different piece of the bike allowed almost unrestricted access to the plugs required for the installation of the pig-tails.  Other than that the function is as advertised.
